Yemen’s Information Minister said the Houthi militia have understood their removal from the US terror list “as a green light to escalate militarily” in the country.
Muammar al-Eryani told Saba that the militia have also become too stubborn after the US decision and caused talks over prisoner exchange with the government to fail in Jordan’s capital, Amman.
He said the militia refused the release of academicians, elderly people and the inclusion of five journalists on the government’s to-be freed list, which obstructed the talks.
