Minister of State Walid Al-Qudaimi held talks on Friday in New Delhi with Secretary of Visas and Overseas Indians Affairs at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, Sripriya Ranganathan, on ways to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two friendly countries across various fields of mutual interest.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continued coordination and enhanced cooperation in a way that consolidates the long-standing ties of friendship and partnership between Yemen and India, built on the historic relations that connect the two peoples.
The meeting also addressed Yemen’s participation in the 10th edition of the Indian Ocean Rim Association Dialogue, currently held in New Delhi, and the opportunities it provides to advance regional cooperation in maritime security, economic collaboration, and sustainable development.
