The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms the need to obtain prior authorization to enter Yemen's airspace The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

FM, Russian Ambassador discuss IC's reaction to Aden airport terrorist attack

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubark held virtual discussion on Thursday with the Ambassador of Russian Federation to the Republic of Yemen Vladimir Dedoshkin.

The discussions dealt with Yemeni-Russian bilateral relations, Aden terrorist attack and the needed respond by the International Community (IC) to the terrorist operation carried out by Houthi militia on Aden airport.

Bin Mubark briefed Dedoshkin on the findings found out by the committee tasked with investigating into Aden terrorist attack upon the government arrival at the airport. He stated that the investigations' outcomes proved that Houthi militia is the perpetrator of the attack.

The Foreign Minister underscored the need for a firm and serious stance by the International Security Council. To this end, he explored Russian friends' support at the International Security Council.

The Russian Ambassador reiterated Russia's support for Yemen's security, stability and unity.
