The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

VP emphasizes peace despite Houthi repeated wasting of peace opportunities

Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh has renewed the state’s emphasis on the option of peace with Houthis despite the coupist militia’s responsibility for repeatedly wasting opportunities to achieve it.
In a meeting with top military officials on Saturday, he said that the government under President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi’s leadership welcomes the efforts the UN Special Envoy Martin Griffiths to bring the government and the coupists on the table of talks to reach a political solution based on the three relevant terms of reference which include UN Security Council resolution no. 2216 (2215).
He said that there is no state nor dignity for Yemenis without a homeland and there is no homeland in the presence of the the Iranian vandalistic and destructive agenda.
He praised the army’s achievements toward liberating Yemen and restoring its security
