The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Yemeni-Cuban bilateral ties and cooperation was a key focus of Al-Mekhlafi's talks with the Cuban diplomat.
The conversation also touched upon the ongoing conflict and war in
Yemen.
The Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister hailed Yemeni-Cuban deeply rooted relations. Arrangements for Al-Mekhlafi's proposed visit to Cuba were also touched upon.
