Deputy Premier, Foreign Minister Abdulmalik Al-Mekhlafi met Thursday with the Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister on the sidelines of the Ministerial Meeting of (NAM) held in Azerbaijan capital Bako.

Yemeni-Cuban bilateral ties and cooperation was a key focus of Al-Mekhlafi's talks with the Cuban diplomat.

The conversation also touched upon the ongoing conflict and war in
Yemen.

The Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister hailed Yemeni-Cuban deeply rooted relations. Arrangements for Al-Mekhlafi's proposed visit to Cuba were also touched upon.
