SAYOON-SABA
Chairing a meeting of the local authority in Sayoon city of the eastern province of Hadhramout on Saturday, Yemen's Prime Minister said: "We need to rebuild the state, which the Saleh-Houthi rebels destroyed everything in it from the years 1962 and 1990. Achieve the state that Yemenis unanimously agreed in the National Dialogue Conference [2013-214] to make it a federal state."
He told the civilian and military generals in the meeting that "the 26 September Revolution has to be celebrated across the country," the anniversary which commemorates the popular revolt against the theocratic rule of the rebels' ancestors in 1962.
He praised Saudi Arabia "for driving al-Qaeda out of coastal Hadhramout, with big support from the UAE", saying that his government will not allow the chaos to recur in mainland Hadhramout.
