The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

President sends condolences to Egyptian counterpart over terror attacks

Aden (Saba)- President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi on Wednesday sent a cable of condolences to his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi over the terrorist attacks on two churches in the cities of Tanta and Alexandria in which several innocent people were left killed and wounded.
President Hadi affirmed that such terrorist acts targeting innocent people are irrelevant to Islam and completely contradict human values and ethics.
President Hadi reiterated that Yemen rejects all these terrorist acts, pointing out that Yemen will stand by Egypt in fighting terrorists and extremism.
He also emphasized that Egypt's security is an integral part of the region's security, calling all Arab and Islamic countries to unite in combating terrorism and dry up its resources.
President Hadi extended condolences to the Egyptian leadership, government, people and families of victims, wishing speedy recovery for the wounded.
