Yemen’s Ambassador to Japan, Adel Al-Sunaini, discussed on Wednesday with Toyama Kei, Director-General for the Middle East and Europe at the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), ways to enhance and expand the agency’s projects and programs in Yemen.

The two sides reviewed the projects and programs currently implemented by JICA in Yemen, underscoring the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination to further develop the partnership in a manner that supports the government’s program to normalize conditions.

The discussions also highlighted alignment with Japan’s efforts to support peace and stability in Yemen through its development and economic projects, as well as training and capacity-building programs.
