Foreign Minister, Dr. Shaya Zindani, received a copy of the credentials of Miles Robert Armitage, the newly appointed non-resident Ambassador of Australia to Yemen.

During the meeting, the Foreign Minister welcomed Ambassador Armitage and expressed his readiness to provide all necessary support to facilitate his duties and enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.

They discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The Foreign Minister praised Australia's supportive stance towards the Yemeni government and its designation of the Houthi militia as a terror organization under Australian law.
