The Yemeni navy and coast guard destroyed three boats of the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias. The boats were loaded with explosives and equipped to carry out hostile actions in territorial waters during clashes with militiamen in the Red Sea.
A source in the navy told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba)"One of the targeted boats was loaded with equipment for launching drones and was destroyed by a missile from the navy's arsenal, killing five militiamen who were on board".
The naval forces spotted two other boats on their way to the targeted boat in an attempt to rescue the people on board. The forces managed to target one of them and destroyed it, those on board were killed, injured, the source added.
A third boat later arrived in the area attempting a rescue before being targeted with heavy fire. The two boats were booby-trapped and loaded with explosives, while one of them was being used to manage the militia's drone operations, according to the military source.
