Public Works Minister, UNOPS discuss roads projects

Minister of Public Works and Highways Eng. Salem al-Hareezi discussed today, Wednesday, in the interim capital Aden, with the Director of the Vital Connectivity Project in Yemen at the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), Juan Carlos, joint cooperation and coordination about the road projects.

The conversations dealt with the UNOPS' interventions and projects in the field of roads and the Ministry's plans and efforts to address the pressing priorities and the needed support by the international organizations, including the UNOPS to help the Ministry carrying out its plans to improve the highways network in the country.

The UNOPS's official promised to provide a detailed report about the most pressing road projects in different governorates in order to mobilize the international efforts to secure the needed resources to carry out the needed projects.
