South Korean foreign cash reserve continues increase

State data showed Monday that the cash foreign reserve of South Korea has increased for the third month in row last September by the virtue of the increase of non-dollar assets and investment profits.

The cash foreign reserve of South Korea has amounted to USD 419.97 billion by the end of September 2024 with an increase of USD 4.05 billion than the previous month, according to data of South Korean Central Bank.

The bank attributed this increase to the increase of the referred value of the non-dollar assets under the decrease of US coin and investment profits.
