Korea's exports shrinks 2.2 percent
[21/07/2025 06:44]
SEOUL-SABA
South Korea's exports decreased by 2.2 percent year-on-year in the first 20 days of July.

The total of the country's exports reached $36.1 billion during the period from July 1 to 20, compared to $36.9 billion in the same period last year.

The Korean Customs Service attributed the decline in a statement to a reduction in working days and an increase in uncertainty surrounding U.S. trade policy.

Imports fell by 4.3 percent year-on-year to $35.6 billion during the mentioned period, resulting in a trade surplus of $500 million.
