NEW YORK-SABA
His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council(PLC) received on Wednesday the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Hans Grundberg.

Mr. Grundberg briefed President al-Alimi on the outcomes of his recent communication in order to de-escalate the tension and to press for reviving the political process against which Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias reneged.

President al-Alimi reiterated the full support of the PLC and the government to the UN-led efforts to launch an inclusive political process based on the nationally, regionally and internationally agreed on terms of the peace references, mainly the UNSCR 2216.
