MUKALLA - SABA
Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, accompanied by Council Member Sheikh Othman Mujalli, met Tuesday, at the Republican Palace in the city of Al-Mukalla with representatives of political parties and components, in the presence of the Governor of Hadhramout, Mabkhout bin Madhi.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council expressed his and the Council member's pleasure at the meeting with representatives of the party and political components that constitute the main pillar of the broad national alliance opposed to the Iranian Imamate Agenda in Yemen and the region.

President al-Alimi briefed the representatives of the parties and political components on the developments and the most prominent achievements of the Presidential Leadership Council since its formation by virtue of the power transfer declaration, noting that the cohesion of the existing national consensus within the framework of the Presidential Leadership Council is one of the most important gains of the current phase.

In this context, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council referred to the improvement of the security situation in the temporary capital Aden and Hadhramout and the rest of the liberated governorates, and the continued fulfillment by the state of its inevitable obligations, including the regular payment of salaries to employees and securing the requirements of commodity imports, with generous support from the brothers in the coalition countries led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

President al-Alimi also spoke about the Council's achievements in activating the judiciary, continuing the procedures for unifying and integrating the armed forces and security, and activating the role of the Supreme Security Committee.

He pointed out to the Council's efforts in the efficient management of the peace requirements, enhancing the distinguished relations with the leadership of the coalition and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and improving the state's position in possessing deterrence means, including the economic firmness policy that included decisions of the Central Bank of Yemen to protect the banking sector and combat money laundering, stressing that the legitimate government still has many tools of pressure.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council considered that these periodic meetings with the political components are one of the indicators of the improvement in the complementary relations between the components carrying legitimacy and their national project.

He also touched on the peace efforts and the initiatives presented by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government in this regard, noting that the militias have obstructed all the efforts led by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the regional and international community, and have gone to drag the country into proxy wars with the whole world, including their terrorist attacks against merchant ships and international shipping lines.

Despite the fact that most of the items in the roadmap have become widely circulated in the media, the militias are still pursuing a misleading approach regarding its contents, he said.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi explained that the roadmap begins with a ceasefire, followed by economic and humanitarian measures to build confidence in the first phase.

In the second phase, it is assumed that a Yemeni dialogue will take place to formulate the foundations of a new transitional period as a third phase.

The President of the Presidential Leadership Council referred to the predominance of discouraging narratives in the coverage related to the Council's position on the efforts of regional and international mediation to de-escalate the economic situation, after the Houthi militias opted to stir up the situation in the region at the behest of the Iranian regime.

He indicated that the militia is still in a state of confusion and trying to find new pretexts to extort the world and militarize the country, including the unilateral announcement of new air routes before the approval of the countries concerned.

The President expressed his hope for the continued consistency of all political components for the sake of Hadhramout, its development and stability, as it is the appropriate environment to showcase the competitiveness of the programs of the national forces to improve the living conditions of the citizens.

During the meeting, Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Othman Mujalli, presented evidence from the existential intellectual and military battle against the terrorist Houthi militias, which have cut the doubt with certainty that they are not a project for peace with the Yemeni people.

Mujalli called on the political components to fortify the internal front and preserve the civilian and peaceful nature of Hadhramout, and learn the lesson from the scenes of destruction left by the Houthi epidemic across the country.
