China's passenger car exports reached 378,000 units in June last month, recording a 28% annual increase.
The China Passenger Car Association stated in a statement published by the Xinhua news agency, "With the recovery of the South American market, exports of cars with Chinese brands reached 325,000 units in June last month, an increase of 31% annually."
It added, "Exports of vehicles and premium cars produced by Chinese-foreign joint ventures reached 54,000 units, an increase of 12% annually."
It pointed out that China's exports of new energy vehicles during June reached 80,000 units, an increase of 12.3% year-on-year, noting that in the first half of the current year, exports of new energy vehicles reached 586,000 units, an increase of 21.2% yearly.
