MARIB - SABA
Thousands organized a protest in the province of Marib on Friday in solidarity with the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, condemning the ongoing crimes of Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip and all occupied Palestinian cities.
The participants expressed strong condemnation of the shameful international stance towards the civilians in the Gaza Strip, who are subjected to genocide, continuous ethnic cleansing, blockade, and deliberate starvation as part of a Zionist attempt to liquidate the Palestinian cause and expel Palestinians from their land.
They reiterated the unwavering stance of the Yemeni people in support of the Palestinian Issue, affirming their continued support for their Palestinian brothers in their legitimate national struggle and their resilience against Israeli occupation until the liberation of all occupied territories and the establishment of an independent and fully sovereign Palestinian state.
The protesters called on the international community, particularly the permanent members of the Security Council, to shoulder their legal and moral responsibilities towards over two million Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip, urging urgent action to save their lives and provide immediate relief and medical assistance to all areas, especially in the northern regions of the Gaza Strip.
They emphasized the necessity for the United Nations Security Council to abide by its resolutions, especially its recent Resolution 2728, which calls for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and prohibits Israel from disregarding international decisions.
