Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Waed Badhib held discussions today, Monday, in the transitional capital Aden with the UN Assistant Secretary –General, Assistant Administrator and Director, Regional Bureau for Arab States of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Abdallah al- Dardari over the contents of the national report about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the forthcoming plan for economic recovery.
The conversations covered several topics relating to the national report about the SDG and the projects carried out by the UNDP and the ones in progress and the priorities of the infrastructure, institutional, economic and development projects.
Al-Dardari stated that the UNDP through the GCC will carry out the projects and bring international experts in the legal and economic fields to help build the capacities of the government's administrative system, specially the ministries charged with implementing the Sustainable Development Plan.
