Yemen's Ambassador to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Ali al-Yazidi discussed Sunday with the Director-General for Arab Countries at Algeria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ambassador Noureddine Khendoudi ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

During the meeting, Ambassador al-Yazidi reviewed the latest developments in Yemen, highlighting Iran's violation of Yemen's airspace by operating a flight to Sana'a International Airport, which is under the control of the Houthi terrorist militia.

Ambassador al-Yazidi explained that these actions constitute a violation of Yemen's sovereignty and a breach of relevant international procedures and obligations.

He underscored the importance of continued international support for respecting Yemen's sovereignty, security, and stability.

For his part, the Algerian official reaffirmed his country's commitment to strengthening the fraternal ties between Yemen and Algeria and to continuing coordination and consultations on issues of mutual interest.
