YWEF Documents 4,651 Houthi Violations Against Mosques and Religious Minorities
The Yemeni Women Empowerment Foundation (YWEF) has documented 4,651 crimes and violations committed by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia against mosques, religious figures and minorities across 14 provinces between January 2014 and August 21, 2026.

The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Governor of Hadramout governorate Salem al-Khanbashi stated that the PLC, the government and local authority in Hadramout are very keen to boost human rights and freedoms.
" We're interested in promoting human rights and freedoms, upholding the rule of law and establishing justice in the governorate", he remarked.
He voiced his statement during his talks today, Sunday, in the city of al-Mukalla, with a delegation from the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, headed by the Commission's Human Rights Officer Badr Farouq.
They conferred over joint cooperation to promote to human rights and freedoms
