Minister of Defense Lt Gen) Mohsen Ada'iri discussed in the interim capital Aden today, Sunday, with the Head of the Red Cross Mission in Yemen Yann Buchli and the Deputy Protection Department Valeria Gemalo joint cooperation between the Ministry and the Red Cross about a number of humanitarian issues.
General Ada'ari praised the humanitarian role of the International Red Cross Mission and its efforts to reduce civilian casualties through awareness-raising, various training courses and providing medical and therapeutic services through its field hospitals.
The Minister stated that the Armed Forces' personnel are fully committed to the Humanitarian International Law, blaming the Iran-allied terrorist Houthi militiamen for planting millions of landmines all over the country.
