Health Minister, Dr. Qassem Buhaybeh, chaired an expanded meeting of the Medical Emergency Committee in Aden to discuss the current epidemiological situation and measures to address it.
The meeting, attended by Deputy Health Minister Dr. Ali Al-Walidi, focused on identifying key actions to contain the epidemic.
The committee emphasized the importance of establishing an epidemiological threshold to monitor early indicators and direct preventive interventions in a timely manner.
They also stressed the need to analyze death cases to determine causes and links to epidemics and diarrhea.
