Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, held a phone call with his Djiboutian President, Ismail Omar Guelleh.
During the call, the two leaders discussed the brotherly relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in various fields. They also touched on regional developments and issues of mutual interest.
President al-Alimi expressed his deep appreciation to the Djiboutian President for the support of the brotherly people of Djibouti to the Yemeni people and their leadership.
He specifically thanked them for the generous facilities provided to Yemeni citizens residing in and transiting through Djibouti, highlighting the historical and brotherly ties between the two nations.
For his part, President Guelleh reaffirmed his country's support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the government, as well as its unwavering stance alongside the Yemeni people.
He expressed his country's commitment to enhancing bilateral coordination to address common challenges and providing all possible facilities to Yemeni nationals.
