RIYADH-SABA
Speaker of Shura Council Dr. Ahmed Obeid bin Dagher received today, Tuesday, the French Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Katherine Corm Kammoun.

They conferred over Yemeni-French bilateral ties and the developments in the Yemeni national arena.

Dr. Bin Dagher detailed the Kammoun on the economic hardships and the humanitarian crisis Yemen has been experiencing amid the war imposed by the Houthi militias which carried out a coup against the legitimate government and the Yemeni people.

He noted that the crisis in Yemen can be resolved by handling its grass-roots that Iran stands behind and the silence of the international community toward the flagrant violations of human rights the Houthis have committed and they are continuing to do.

The Speaker of the Shura Council touched upon the developments in Gaz Strip and the Israeli brutal aggression against the Palestinian people.
He called for the international community to act to put an end of the Israelis' crimes and violations.

He said" Palestinian cause is a central issue for Arabs and Muslims, to get it resolved on the basis of the two state-solution, will bring stability to the region and the entire world".

Dr. Bin Dagher he blamed Houthis for the military operation in the Red Sea, arguing that it has nothing to do with Yemen's national interests, it is done by the Iranian regime insinuation.

The French Ambassador confirmed her country's support for the internationally recognized Yemeni government.
