Major General Al-Zubaidi inaugurates headquarters of Supreme Military Academy in the temporary capital Aden

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Major General Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi inaugurated the headquarters of the Supreme Military Academy in the temporary capital, Aden, marking the launch of the educational process there.

Following the opening, Major General Al-Zubaidi, accompanied by the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari, toured the headquarters, informing the academy administration of the departments and classrooms contained in the headquarters, in addition to the details of the curriculum and academic programs offered to studying officers.

Major General Al-Zubaidi chaired a meeting of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense, the heads of the Ministry’s departments, and the studying officers. At the beginning, he congratulated everyone on the opening of this large academic facility, stressing that this opening represents a first step towards reviving the life of the Supreme Military Academy and qualifying the military leaders, whose responsibility it is to build and develop the three types of armed forces, the ground forces, naval forces, and air defense, at the tactical, strategic, and tactical levels.

Major General Al-Zubaidi praised the great efforts made by the leadership of the Ministry of Defense to establish this military academic edifice in the capital, Aden, and all the efforts being made to rehabilitate the armed forces, commanders, staff, officers, and individuals.

Major General Al-Zubaidi addressed those present, saying: “Today we are going through a pivotal stage that requires the combined efforts of everyone and working in the spirit of one team, and what you have accomplished today by establishing this great academic edifice is an essential step towards building a strong, qualified military institution that will be the safety valve for the people and the nation.”
