His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) received today, Wednesday, the Chargé d' Affaires of the United States' embassy in the Republic of Yemen Inger
The discussions covered topics relating to Yemeni-American bilateral relations and cooperation, the ongoing efforts of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to launch an inclusive political process guided by the United Nations.
The economic and financial reforms and the required international support to sustain these reforms were also discussed.
The conversations also touched upon the Houthis' terrorist attacks on oil facilities and international shipping line and their negative impacts upon humanitarian situations and living conditions of the Yemeni people.
President al-Alimi confirmed the stance of the PLC and the government in support of the fair and permanent peace that is based on the terms of the peace references agreed on nationally, regionally and internationally.
The American diplomat confirmed the US administration's support for the PLC and its efforts aiming to resume the political process and to allay the Yemeni people's suffering.
