Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen Ahmad al-Maabaki headed Monday a delegation participated in the meetings of the 47th Round for the Governors of the Central Banks and Arab Fund Institutions organized by Arab Monetary Fund here.
The meeting discussed in two days a number of topics, including the report of the Secretariate of the Council of the Arab Central Banks Governors.
The report included all activities accomplished in the fields of fiscal and cash policies, governing, enumeration and enhancing monitoring, governing, response to international banking principles and combating money laundering and financing terrorism.
A symposium was held on the sidelines of the meetings during which improving international economy and challenges facing central banks, including high inflation rates and adopted policy to deal with those rates.
