The Supreme Council of Energy (SCE) has approved a number of plans and alternatives to develop strategic solutions to improve the electricity services by using renewable energy and less cost fuels to generate electricity.

Up to 239 Yemeni people arrived Saudi Arabia after evacuation from Sudan

The first batch of Yemeni residents of 239 persons arrived Wednesday here after being evacuated from Sudan, where they were received by Yemeni Consul in Jeddah Alawi Bafaqih.
The arrival of this batch comes within efforts are being exerted by the Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs in coordination with Saudi Arabia, said Bafaqih.
He confirmed that the Yemeni consulate is keen on easing all difficulties and providing all basic needs to the Yemeni community in preparations for their departure easily to the homeland.
He added that the ministry of foreign affairs is following up latest developments in Sudan and work is underway to finalize evacuation of all students and members of Yemeni community who want to return.
