Minister of Social and Labor Affairs Mohammad al-Zaori discussed Monday with the Delegation of the American National Democratic Institute for International Affairs enhancing cooperation and efforts of the government in tackling different critical issues and files.
In his meeting with Senior Associate of NDI for the Middle East and North Africa Leslie Campbell and Senior Director of NDI for International Affairs in Yemen Kanzah Aqritit here on Monday, al-Zaori touched upon economic impacts over Houthi militia attacks on oil ports and establishments and its continuous threat in threatening the International Maritime Navigation.
He called upon the International Community to take deterring positions towards this terrorist militia.
He made it clear that the government is exerting all efforts to tackle economic, humanitarian and developmental situations with support from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, pointing out to significance of donors' support to the government to continue its efforts of improving economic level.
For its part, the NDI delegation expressed plans to create strong partnership relations with the government of Yemen, confirming understanding to issues associated with economic, social and developmental domains.
