The Council stressed the importance of mobilizing all resources and energies to fulfill the state's obligations towards citizens, and to thwart the Houthi terrorist plans supported by the Iranian regime, which aim to stop the wheel of economic and service reforms in the liberated governorates, and efforts aimed at improving Yemen's presence at the regional and international levels.

The Council and the government reaffirmed their commitment to continuing to pay the salaries of employees, to use effective monetary and fiscal policy tools to curb inflation, and to strengthen the position of the national currency and basic commodities, praising the encouraging indicators for reducing the state budget deficit.

In this context, the Council also praised the support of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates at various levels, leading to the grant of Saudi oil derivatives, which continued to flow successively during the past weeks, in addition to the signing with the UAE side today, Wednesday, of an agreement to establish a system Solar energy in Aden governorate with a capacity of 120 MW, which will be operational in early June.

In addition, the Presidential Leadership Council renewed its welcome to the statement of the European Union, in which it condemns the practices of the Houthi terrorist militia in exacerbating the humanitarian crisis and destabilizing the security and stability of Yemen and the region, but indicated that the European statement was not accurate in other issues, especially with regard to the cohesion of the components of the Presidential Council, as it confirms the Council calls for the support of all the political forces and components of the Leadership Council, especially the Southern Transitional Council, as well as the Leadership Council's respect for all national issues and the political aspirations of the components of the Council.
