Minister of State – Governor of Aden – Ahmed Lamlas held discussions today, Tuesday, here in the temporary capital Aden with the Head of EU Mission in Yemen Gabriel Munuera Vinals and Ambassadors of France Jean-Marie Safa, Germany Hubert Jager and Sweden Toma Orteilla.
The talks dealt with topics relating urban planning, local authorities' plans and efforts to improve basic services and illegal migration problem.
The Governor detailed the EU diplomats on the local authority's plans and efforts to make Aden better, establish security, stability, underlining the needed to support for the European friends.
Lamlas called for organizing a regional conference includes Yemen, Ethiopia, Somalia, Djibouti and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to manage the challenges of illegal migration.
The EU Ambassadors said they came to Aden to show their support for the efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council, government and local authority.
