Aden - Saba
His Excellency President, Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, directed the government to provide the urgent requirements for tackling the electricity shortage in the temporary capital, Aden, in coordination with the local authority and the relevant government agencies.
The presidential directives came in accordance with a report presented by the Minister of State, Governor of Aden Ahmed Lamlas, today, Tuesday, on the status of the power supply in the governorate and ways to cope with additional loads during the summer, and to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
The directives emphasized securing the basic needs mentioned in the local authority's report, including the necessary stock of diesel shipments for the next two months, restarting the suspended and rented stations, and linking the Petromila station to its total capacity.
