A meeting held Monday chaired by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Yemen’s Governor to the World Bank Dr. Afrah al-Zouba and attended by a high-level World Bank delegation led by the Bank’s Vice President for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan Ousmane Dione discussed ways to enhance partnership and expand support across development, humanitarian, service, and economic sectors in the country.

Report: Houthi militiamen killed 296, hurt 732 children in Marib

As many as 1028 children were killed by Houthi militias' ballistic missiles, laden-explosive drones, landmines and military attacks on Marib governorate during the time October 2014 to December 2021.

A report issued today titled" Killing Childhood" mentioned that 296 children killed and 732 wounded by Houthi militias' different weapons over the past seven years.

Some 149 children were killed and 421 injured by Houthi militia's missiles and different projectiles, meanwhile 147 children killed and 311 wounded by landmines and explosive devices, according to the report.

The report also covered the militias' violations against the children in Marib included recruitment, kidnapping and enforced disappearances.

Up to one thousand and 748 children were recruited in the militia-controlled regions of Marib governorate,124 out of them killed, 529 injured and 472 are still fighting within the militia's ranks, while 323 are still missing.

The report stated that 148 children were kidnapped out of them 45 are still enforced disappeared.
