Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik met today here in the temporary capital Aden with the leadership of the local authority in Lahj governorate headed by the governor Ahmed Turki.
The session intended to discuss the situations of the basic services, challenges facing local authority and the government's support within the available resources.
The governor provided a detailed report about security, military and basic services situations in the governorate, the local authority's efforts to improve basic services and the most pressing requirements need to be met urgently.
The Prime Minister stated that the government is very keen to normalize situations and improve basic services in Lahj and other government-held governorates and it will do utmost efforts within attainable capacities at this critical stage.
