The State of Kuwait has denounced the criminal attack, which targeted the convoy of Aden Governor Ahmad Lamlas and Minister of Agriculture and Fishery Wealth Salem al-Soqotari on Sunday.

The Foreign Ministry of the State of Kuwait confirmed Kuwait's rejecting position to violence and terrorism with all its forms, calling the international community to double its efforts to reach a political solution to end Yemen's conflict in accordance with the three agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and Security Council Resolution 2216.
The ministry expressed heartfelt condolences to families of the victims and hoped quick recovery to the injured.
