The President of the Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi emphasized on the importance of developing the state's proceeds, effectively collecting and depositing in the government bank accounts in the Central Bank of Yemen and its branches in the governorates.
"Customs and taxes must be levied effectively, customs exemptions must be ceased immediately and custom tariff should be the same in all governorates and entrances", Hadi said.
He voiced his instructions as he held a meeting today included the Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik, Minister of Finance, Chairman of the Central Organization for Auditing and Controlling and the governors of Aden, Lahj, Hadramout and Almaharah governorates.
The session intended to discuss the latest developments in the government-held governorates, peoples' pressing needs need to be addressed and the ongoing efforts to achieve economic recovery and push the development drive.
