Yemeni-Egyptian security cooperation discussed

Minister of Interior Maj. General Ibrahim Haidan held talks today with his Egyptian counterpart Maj. General Mahmood Tawfeq over bilateral security cooperation and coordination between the two countries.

The discussions touched upon the situations of the Yemeni community in Egypt whose numbers have increased over the recent years due to challenges facing Yemen since Houthi militia's coup.

They also discussed the latest developments in Yemen and the international peace efforts.

The Egyptian Minister reiterated Egypt's stance in support of the legitimate Yemeni government, Yemen's unity and the UN-led efforts to make peace.
