The Charged' Affairs of the Republic of Yemen embassy in Nairobi, Kenya, Yemen's Permanent Representative to the UN's Office for Environment Program Abdussalam al-Awadhi held today virtual discussions with the Regional Director of the UN Program for Environment Program.
The conversations focused on the Safer Oil Tanker's looming environmental risks as a result of Houthi militia's rejection of all attempts intended to repair the extremely decaying tanker.
Al-Awadhi called on the UN to take responsibility and act to prevent the unaffordable environmental disaster before it is too late.
