The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) headed by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, held a joint meeting today, Monday, with the National Defense Council, (NDC) in the presence of all its members: Sultan al-Arada, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem al-Khanbashi.

Bin Mubarak confers with EU's senior official over Houthi militias' violations

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak met today with the Commissioner for Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aids in the European Commission Janiz Lenarcic.

Houthi militias' grave violations and atrocities against the Yemeni people was key focus of the conversations.

The humanitarian situations that Houthi militia's military escalations and rejection to come to peace further worsening were also elaborately discussed.

Bin Mubark detailed the EU official on a wide variety of violations have been committed by Iran-backed Houthi militiamen against the Yemeni people on a daily basis.

He cited yesterday ballistic missiles and drone attacks on a mosque and women prison in the down town of Marib city as a case-in-point.

The EU official affirmed the EU commitment to support the underway efforts to make peace in Yemen. He also reiterated the EU support for the Yemeni government.
