Governor of Marib Sultan al-Erada discussed Wednesday with US Envoy to Yemen Tim Linder King and Charge d'Affairs of US Embassy in Yemen Cathy Westley via visual communications latest developments in Marib.
Al-Erada touched upon Houthi terrorist militia's suicide attacks in Marib and attacking camps of displaced people by ballistic rockets and unmanned jets.
He confirmed that Marib will continue to be starting point for regaining the Yemeni state and realizing peace, expressing gratitude to US envoy's statements and positions and his good understanding to Yemen's issue.
He pointed out that all Yemeni people, led by people of Marib, are longing for peace and ending the Houthi militia's triggered war.
For their part the US official and diplomat, expressed concern over humanitarian aftermaths of Houthi militia's attacks on Marib, which needs more humanitarian assistances.
They praised the role played by local authority of Mairb and integration of people, confirming their country's rejection to Houthi militia's attacks on civilian and displaced people.
They pointed out that the United States seeks to reach inclusive solution to Yemen's crisis.
