Speaker of Shoura Council Dr. Ahmed Obeid bin Dagher met here today with Ambassador of the United Kingdom (UK) to the Republic of Yemen Michael Aron.
They conferred over the ongoing efforts aim to establish permanent and comprehensive peace in Yemen.
Bin Dagher stated that the legitimate political leadership headed by President Hadi is very keen to support the efforts to achieve the sustainable and comprehensive peace that is based on the three terms of reference including the GCC's Initiatives, its executive plan, outcomes of National Dialogue and the UNSCR 2216.
The British Ambassador reiterated his country's support for the legitimate Yemeni government, Saudi-led Coalition and the efforts of the UN's envoy to Yemen.
