'MASAM' removes 1531 landmines in 3rd week of February

KSrelief Center Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" pulled out 1531 landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and explosive devices in the 3rd week of February 2021.
These landmines were planted by the terrorist Houthi militia in the governorates of Aden, Abyan, al-Dale'a, Hodeidah, Shabwah, Marib, Taiz and Aljawf.
The Center reported that MASAM extracted 100 anti-personnel, 388 anti-tanks, 1041 UXO and 2 explosive devices.
Up to 218,924 Houthis-laid down landmines were removed by MASAM since it has started its demining mission.
