Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Dr. Mohamed al-Zauri discussed Tuesday with the Chairman of the Board of the Gulf and Aden Development and Humanitarian Services Authority, Fahd Abdullah Al-Burai and Executive Director Saif al-Yahri the progress of the charitable and humanitarian projects carried out by the authority, which benefit thousands of citizens.
Minister al-Zauri was briefed on the nature of these projects, which include the Aden Cooperative Charitable Hospital, offering healthcare at symbolic fees that align with the difficult living conditions of low-income families. Additionally, the Aden Charitable Ovens project distributes over 61,000 meals daily for free to the poor and needy, along with programs for orphan sponsorship, food basket distribution, and the Qurbani and food support projects for the most vulnerable communities in Aden and neighboring areas.
He commended the authority's crucial role in alleviating the suffering of citizens, especially those unable to bear the costs of treatment or provide food.
He emphasized the ministry's full support for all its projects and the provision of necessary facilities to ensure their continuity and expansion in serving the community.
