FM discusses with UAE counterpart cooperation between the two countries

Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmad Binmubarak discussed Wednesday via visual communications with UAE State Minister for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash mutual cooperation between the two countries and means of enhancing and improving them.

Binmubarak reviewed latest developments in Yemen and implementing Riyadh Agreement, which represented significant step on boosting national unity and mobilizing efforts for facing grand challenges in security, economy, livelihoods and facing Houthi militia coup against the state and their threat to regional security and stability, as well as diminishing UN-sponsored efforts for realizing inclusive peace in Yemen.

He praised efforts of brothers in the UAE in different fields and their denunciation to the terrorist attack targeted the government in Aden Airport, confirming government's keenness on coordinating political situations between the two countries for realizing peace and stability to Yemeni people.

For his part, the UAE minister renewed denunciation of Houthi terrorist attack against the government, labeling it as a message for foiling Riyadh Agreement and diminishing the activities of the new government.

He welcomed US former administration's decision of designating Houthi militia as terrorist foreign organization.

He also renewed his country's firm position supporting Yemen's unity and sovereignty and renewed solidarity with government of Yemen for implementing Riyadh Agreement and realizing security and stability for reaching inclusive peace.

He expressed aspirations for exerting more efforts for improving mutual relations between the two countries.
