Yemen’s Minister of Planning and International Cooperation said his government, in partnership with the UNDP, has formulated a socio-economic framework to counter the consequences of the novel coronavirus.
Addressing the annual World Bank meetings, Najib Al-Awj called for helping Yemen access more sources of finance for this policy customized to fit the Yemeni specifics.
He also pointed out that Yemen is looking forward to the assistance of global stakeholders in conditioning aid projects to fit with the status quo created by the pandemic.
