The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

UNICEF finances water projects in Marib worth $ 226000

Director of Rural Water Projects in Madghal District Ali Huthal along with District Director Amer Umaisan launched Tuesday three water projects with total cost of USD 226,000.
The projects were financed by the UNICEF.
Huthal made it clear that 3945 people benefit from the three projects, Madghal, Naba'ah and Al Ku'lan. Displaced families from al-Hazm and Majzar Majzar districts to Marib benefit also from the projects.
Meanwhile, Umaisan pointed out that the district includes thousands of displaced people from areas witnessing conflicts in Jawf and Marbi and that the projects will alleviate their suffering.
