Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik and Kuwaiti Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Sabah al- Khalid al-Sabah discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries and the Kuwaiti historical role in support of the Yemeni people in different stages.
In a telephone conversation Dr. Ma'een detailed Sheikh al-Sabah on the latest developments about peace process and the UN envoy's efforts to make peace.
Ma'een touched upon the peace consultations that the State of Kuwait hosted in 2016, highly praising Kuwait's significant support for the Yemeni people, deeply appreciating the contribution of the State of Kuwait to the humanitarian efforts in Yemen over the past years.
For his part, the Kuwaiti Prime Minister stated that the government and the people of State of Kuwait give Yemen special priority, accordingly the Kuwaiti leadership is very interested in supporting the peace process and efforts in Yemen, as well as the UN envoy's efforts in this regard.
