Four Yemeni NGOs have demanded the release of dozens of journalists the Houthi rebel militia keep in jail since they took control on Sana'a in September 2014.
In separate statements, the Yemen Journalists Syndicate, the Yemeni Coalition for Monitoring Human Rights Violations, the Observatory on Media Freedom and Sada Media Organization called for the release of all the journalists in the militia's jails.
They also called for the release of four journalists who lately received death sentences on trumped-up charges by a militia-styled court in Sana'a.
