The Governor of Al-Hodeidah, Dr. Al-Hassan Taher discussed with the Action Against Hunger the organization's support projects for the governorate, especially the health and humanitarian aspects of them.

The governor praised the organization's continued work in the governorate including provision of health support through restoring a number of collapsed healthcare facilities back to operation.

The governor urged the organization to expand its activities and provide more support to the health sector to alleviate the suffering of people in light of the prevalence of a number of diseases. The governor also visited the UNICEF-funded malnutrition treatment center and reviewed the efforts made in the center to reduce the incidence of severe and severe malnutrition among children.
