Electricity shortages in government-held regions in Hodeidah discussed

Minister of Electricity Eng. Mohammed al-Anani and Deputy governor of Hodeidah Waleed al-Qodeimi discussed on Monday power shortages in the government-held areas in Hodeidah governorate.
Electricity shortages in al-Khokha city and district was key point of the discussions.
Al-Khokha was provided with five generators, public electricity network was put into operation, however al-Qodeimi highlighted the need for more generators to manage blackout hours, particularly during the summer times.
Al-Qodeimi also noted that five MWA are urgently needed to provide Hyais district with power in the wake of ruining public network by the putschist Houthi militia.
